Every half-life multiplies what’s left by ½. Getting to 0.06% takes about 10.7 half-lives, no matter the chemical — which is why nicotine (T½ = 2 h) is gone before tomorrow and NNAL (T½ = 6 weeks) hangs around for well over a year.
